Professor Bill Garrett began his combat sports journey at just four years old, competing in wrestling through age eighteen across folkstyle, freestyle, and Greco-Roman disciplines. He competed extensively throughout the Northeast in state, regional, and national tournaments — most notably earning championships at the prestigious Ironman Tournament and the Canadian National Championships.
In 2006, he expanded into Judo, developing a strong foundation in throws and takedowns. He began Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2007 and added Boxing and Muay Thai to his arsenal in 2008, building a well-rounded and complete striking game.
Professor Bill stepped into professional MMA in 2009, completing four professional bouts and blending elite wrestling with submission grappling and striking.
In 2024, he achieved the rank of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt — marking nearly two decades of dedication to the art.
With a foundation rooted in high-level wrestling competition and refined through Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, and Muay Thai, Professor Bill brings relentless work ethic, technical precision, and real fight experience to every class.
