Professor Jamie Frier is a professional mixed martial artist with over 20 years of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA and more than 15 years dedicated to coaching and athlete development.
He holds a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Grandmaster Flavio Behring, carrying forward a lineage rooted in traditional, pressure-based, and highly technical Jiu-Jitsu. His approach blends strong foundational principles with modern MMA integration, producing athletes who are technically sharp, strategically intelligent, and physically prepared for competition.
As a competitor, Professor Frier is an ADCC Open Gold Medalist and ADCC Open medalist who has also earned regional championships in both grappling and mixed martial arts. As a coach, he has developed high-level athletes including an IBJJF Pan American Champion, ADCC Open champions, and numerous regional champions across grappling and MMA.
In addition to his extensive Jiu-Jitsu background, he brings experience in wrestling, Muay Thai, Judo, and boxing, allowing him to develop well-rounded martial artists capable of performing in sport competition, MMA, and real-world application.
Whether coaching professional fighters, competitive grapplers, military personnel, or beginners stepping onto the mat for the first time, Professor Frier is committed to building disciplined, resilient, and confident martial artists through structured training, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.
His mission is simple: to develop athletes who can perform under pressure — on the mat, in the cage, and in life.
